TAWNY OWL - Strix aluco
The most common owl in the Czech Republic! 🇨🇿

At the ornithological station, two tawny owls are being cared for after both were hit by a car.

The male has an injured wing and is almost blind 😔, while the female has damaged both wings.

Thanks to the amazing team at @ornisprerov these owls have been looked after since 2020. ❤️

In 2024, they even raised a chick, which was successfully released into the wild! 🌿✨
